We have been super busy here at The Sunset doing some “Retrovations”. Our rooms have been updated; some with brand new bathrooms, carpet, paint, – the works. Each room is decorated with vibrant colors and hip touches like retro tile in the new bathrooms, and flat-screen TV’s in most rooms, new beds and bedding. New to The Sunset is a breakfast menu. Order in advance and the items will already be in your room upon arrival. (All pre-packaged) You can even upgrade your coffee to a pot of Starbucks!. We still have our pet friendly rooms so you don’t have to leave your four legged friends behind.

The outside is newly painted and the pink flamingos are back! We are underway with new landscaping and have set up a an area especially for our cyclists to wash and inspect their bikes. We offer the convenience of keeping your bike inside with you at night by providing tarps. (only the non-motorized kind, sorry)

Only four blocks from downtown Brevard, North Carolina and some hardcore biking trails in Pisgah and DuPont Forests. The Sunset Motel offers a truly unique experience set in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. One of the better-known trails, Farlow Gap, is close by.

Our office has been hijacked by vinyl records and is even adorned with a groovy lava lamp. Come visit,tell us what you need and we’ll take care of the rest. Our staff is here to make you comfortable and help you find area food, attractions and tour guides. And, as always, no tipping for concierge services.
